I would like to share some of the lovely reviews i have had from some special gentlemen:

Shall I compare thee to a summers day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate. Shakespeare does not do justice to Annabelle. I sensed from our telephone conversations that she was both considerate and had a nice sense of humour. When I met her she was both, but also completely gorgeous and sexy. Conversation was easy. We chatted over a glass of wine, and then slowly…. What happened next must remain a secret, but Annabel was everything a lover should be, attentive and provocative, creative and submissive. By the time I left we were both exhausted but very happy. Parting is such sweet sorrow, as the bard said!

Had an amazing time with Annabelle. Was everything I wanted and more. Nice comfortable clean premises, she made me feel at ease. Will definitely back in the future.

Annabelle is one special lady. The time spent with her was out of this world. She instantly makes you relaxed and feel special. Treat her well if you visit her, she really does look after you. I will definately be seeing Annabelle again.

http://www.simpsonsrestaurant.co.uk/news.html

I have been lucky enough to dine at this fabulous restaurant and I must say it is one of the best, but it really should be for the price – and it is.
My two favourite things are the champagne sitting room as you go in, so comfy sitting with a glass of pink bubbly perusing the menu, when called to the table you may not want to move. Not to worry though as the view of the garden with its fairy lights more than makes up for it and the amuse bouche is a delight.

On this particular evening all of our food and wine choices were perfect and we finnished with the local cheese board and port.
As we weren’t staying in their rooms it really was “show me the way to go home”

We returned to my sexy little apartment and our evening got even better.

Simpsons Restaurant gardens are the only Michelin gardens in Birmingham – offering a tranquil escape from the city, in the secluded elegance of our Greek style landscaped gardens. Pre lunch or dinner drinks can be enjoyed, with waiter/ess service, as well as dining in the Summer months.

Enjoy our covered veranda, or simply sit in our main restaurant whilst overlooking the planted greenery, and our waterfall art.

Private events and parties can also be hosted in our gardens, please ask for details.

I have recently had the honour of accompanying certain gentlemen on special occasions as their plus one.

Acting as a gentleman’s companion to varying events such as the races, weddings, parties, lunches and dinners. as I have have had such a wonderful time I thought it wise to promote the fact, in the hope to secure more fun.

These dates can be purely platonic, warm and cosy with no pressure to perform or a real girlfriend experience with plenty of intimate attention.

The following rendezvous’ are real although the names and some details have been changed to protect the innocent – ha ha

The Intimate Lunch

I recently had the pleasure of a cosy lunch with an attractive man in a canal side eatery where we had a nice quiet table; afterwards we visited an art gallery where we discussed the art and sculpture on offer. It was a lovely day so we then strolled along the canal to my place where we enjoyed a coffee and an intimate tete a tete.

We found we had a lot in common and plenty to talk about so an utterly fabulous sunny afternoon was had by all.

The Wedding

I recently had a request to attend a wedding and evening reception as Simons plus one. The wedding was on the south west coast but as I don’t have any regional accent and a hotel was booked for me this was of course no problem. I have plenty of outfits and had recently bought a fabulous outfit for another occasion and so I was all set.

We discussed all our history as a couple, his work and family and his previous relationships so I was thoroughly prepared for any eventuality.

The gentleman in question had mentioned to his family and friends a girlfriend he saw occasionally, and so it was nice for us to attend as said couple. The day and evening went swimmingly and we totally enjoyed ourselves.

Simon later confided that he had been worried for months about the upcoming event and he now felt so relieved.

Simon has asked if I would be available for any future engagements. I will of course be delighted.

Platonic Overnight Stay

I recently had the delight of fine wine and dining.

An extremely cultured and interesting married gentleman visiting from Australia on business required an evening of gourmet dining and overnight companionship. We had drinks in the bar of his hotel and then ventured out to the restaurant we had carefully chosen between us via email. The evening was a great success and when we returned to the hotel a bottle of champagne was waiting for us in our room.

It was a fabulous night and although it was platonic there was definitely loads of fun and affection.

We enjoyed breakfast together and he set off for his business meeting with a smile on his face and a spring in his step.

New Birmingham Eatery 1, Victoria Square

The Chameleon

http://www.thechameleonbham.com

Whilst I was out and about in Birmingham city centre one afternoon this week, I popped into the main Post Office which incidentally was a newly civilised affair.

A new system where one selects the service required on a screen and then is allocated a ticket; you are free then to take a seat until called. No more horrendous snaky queue squashed up against all sorts of city centre folk. I like to choose who I squash up against and they definitely must smell sweet.

I left by the back door and into the rain; there across the road was an oasis of warm cosiness -an eatery calling itself The Chameleon. I had heard there was a new restaurant in town but wasn’t sure where it was.

I couldn’t resist, gave the outside terrace a miss and settled myself on a comfy sofa near the bar. A view of a fabulous array of champagne and an open kitchen was all very tempting but I ordered a latte from a very charming waiter (one of a nice selection) and perused their four (!) menus.

It all sounded delicious and I plan to go back and try some of the delights on offer.

I will keep you posted

This picture is a fantasy and unfortunately not to be expected at The Chamelian

I love this Oscar Wilde quote on their website

TOO MUCH WORK AND NO VACATION,

DESERVES AT LEAST A SMALL LIBATION.

SO HAIL! MY FRIENDS, AND RAISE YOUR GLASSES;

WORK’S THE CURSE OF THE DRINKING CLASSES.

We have a new wave of sexy modern architecture

The new Bullring with The Selfridges building and the renovated Rotunder edifice are all feminine although the tower like Rotunder could be seen as phallic

Selfridges at the Bullring, sexy? yes! yes! yes!

Sensuous Future Systems’ blobitecture design for the 2003 Selfridges department store, was intended to evoke the female silhouette and a famous “chain mail” dress designed by Paco Rabanne in the 1960s.

We have two brand new buildings, the new Queen Elizabeth 11 Hospital and The Cube.

The QE2 is curvy and my opinion beautiful, three curvy edifices visible on the horizon from all directions. I did fantasise that if they had decided on two, it would have looked like two breasts or bum cheeks, so of course although this would have been interesting totally unacceptable to many.

It’s about time our sexy new feminine buildings now have a masculine edifice to compliment them -The cube.

The £100 million Cube is of course the cube shaped building we have been watching slowly rise from an enormous hole in the ground over the last two and a half years. Not as sexy as that might sound, as it has left us all with ringing ears, dusty everything, grumpy because the road is closed off and totally bemused.

Is it only a hideous square concrete light blocker after all?

The interesting edifice 30 St Mary Axe, also known as The Gherkin was designed by Norman Forster and his then business partner Ken Shuttleworth Local lad Ken’s company Make have designed The Cube, Birmingham’s iconic building.

The artist’s impressions promised us a golden glowing cube with an asymmetric lightwell and a glass rooftop with views all over the city. I had heard from a very good connection, it was to be covered in copper to give it that glow. That is no-where in evidence. I wonder if the copper facade was an urban myth or something that was dropped because of spiralling costs?

The cube is now finished although not yet open to the public, from the sides and back it’svery disappointing (a client commented that it looked like a council block you might see in Peckham). If you go down onto the tow path to view it from the front it is interesting and maybe even beautiful if only it were possible to stand back far enough to get a good vantage point.

Superstitious? The marketing people may have decided to leave out a floor 13 but the architects didn’t seem to worry about using 666 glass panels in the roof, Spooky!

I am still hoping that when it’s open to the public and fully lit with a shining glass roof, and we can all go inside to appreciate the lightwell–we will all fall in love with our iconic golden Cube.

P.S. rumour has it Jamie Oliver was looking to take the rooftop restaurant, hope its true as that should pull in the punters. The Mailbox is a great place.

P.P.S. update: unfortunately the Jamie O thing was probably another urban myth -

D&D London have taken the restaurant. Who? danddlondon.com
